Mudd crew busy with movie preparations, new website

Welcome to our new and improved website! It is our intention and hope that it informs you about the USS Harry Mudd and our partners in STARFLEET International. Feel free to drop us a line with any questions or comments you may have. 2013 has been a busy year for us so far. First, as an ongoing project, we have been designing and building a command chair replica based on the new "Star Trek" film series.final bridgesig This chair is being created for use in our display at The Ridge Theater in Pace, Fla,. for the opening of the new film, "Star Trek: Into Darkness." This chair will provide an interactive piece to draw fans to our set-up so they can learn more about the USS Harry Mudd and what we do. An important part of being in STARFLEET is the friendship and camaraderie of members outside any single chapter. To that end, we have annual summits for our region and international conferences for the entire fleet. Our Region 2 Summit for this year was held in Muscle Shoals, Ala. and was attended by all but one member of our Command Staff. We had a good time and raised more $650 for charity, with the USS Harry Mudd directly involved in raising $500 of that total! Finally, and perhaps most importantly in the long run, we have a new webmaster, Anthony Cornelius, who has put together this wonderful site for us. Anthony has worked hard and done a stellar job. We’ve helped mostly by keeping out of his way and doing what he told us to when he told us. Just as our physical display at the theater will allow us to attract and educate fans of science fiction and fantasy about us, hopefully,  this website will do the same in cyberspace. Hope to hear from you. Bridge out.
